   When you subscribe to the premium service to be able to use additional features, GoSurro will also collect payment information which is necessary to process your subscription. If you fill out a Contact Us form or email us, GoSurro will use that information to respond to your request. Your personal information will be used solely to provide and improve our services, facilitate transactions you have authorized, comply with applicable legal obligations, or as explicitly consented by you. We may share your information with trusted third-party partners only to the extent necessary to fulfill these purposes. We will collect and process sensitive personal data (e.g., health, reproductive information, or family-building preferences) only with your explicit consent and in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations in your country and state of residence, as indicated on your profile.    You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us by following the instructions in the communication or contacting us directly.

4. Do Not Track:

   Our app does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals from web browsers.

   For your safety and the security of all our members, we may ask you to verify your identity or your authority to act on behalf of a member before fulfilling certain requests. We take your privacy seriously and want to ensure that only you have control over your data!

   Please note, we may decline requests if we’re unable to verify your identity, if the request is unlawful or invalid, or if it could infringe on trade secrets, intellectual property, or the privacy rights of others. If you’re requesting information related to another member, such as messages they’ve sent you, they will need to submit the request themselves.

6. Data Retention

At GoSurro, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled responsibly. We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, such as providing our services, complying with legal obligations, and resolving any potential issues.

When you contact us at contact@gosurro.com to delete/deactivate your account, your profile will be deleted within 7 working days upon receipt of the email. The personal information in your account will be fully deleted and/or anonymized after 2 years. Note that we shall close your account automatically if you are inactive for two years.

In certain circumstances, we may retain data for a longer period, such as in the case of an account ban, ongoing disputes, legal claims, or investigations, for which we may retain customer support records for up to six years. To comply with tax and financial regulations, transaction data is retained for up to 10 years, while credit card information is kept as long as necessary to resolve any disputes.

We also retain logs and traffic data for one year to meet legal retention requirements. After the applicable retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information. We may retain anonymized data for research purposes or to improve our services.
